Brendan Casey enters his fourth season as an assistant coach with the MIT football program in 2022 and works with the tight ends.

Prior to MIT, Casey was the assistant offensive line coach for the 2018 season with the Irish Wolfhounds in Dublin, Ireland. He was also the run game coordinator and offensive line coach with the Potsdam Royals of the GFL from March 2017-September 2018. As a player, he was a left tackle for the Wolfhounds in 2018 and an offensive lineman with the Royals. 

Collegiately, Casey was a left guard at Hobart College and graduated in 2016 as the Statesmen recorded a mark of 41-6 during his four-year career. His team captured three Liberty League championships with three undefeated regular seasons and two appearances in the national quarterfinals. 

He graduated from Hobart in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts, Media & Society.
