Brian Keats enters his third season as assistant coach forMIT's swimming and diving program. Brian was a varsity swimmer atthe University of Denver where he excelled in the backstroke andindividual medley specialties. He graduated in 2002 with abachelor's degree in Biology. As a student-athlete, he was namedteam MVP in two consecutive seasons while holding two schoolrecords. After graduating, Brian trained and competed for PuertoRico leading up to the 2004 Olympic Trials in Toronto, Canada.

Currently, Brian directs the aquatics program at the CambridgeYMCA and has been instructing and coaching swimmers of allabilities for the past three years. He is excited to be part of agreat swim program here at MIT and looks forward to contributing tothe success of the team this year.
