Caroline Blanchard joins the softball staff for her fourth year, after successfully developing the Engineers outfield over the past three seasons. She currently works as an Editorial Assistant for American Journal of Kidney Diseases at Tufts Medical Center when she’s not on the field at MIT. 

Blanchard graduated from Trinity College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience. She was a four-year member of the softball team and served as captain during her senior year. A three-time New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference second team honoree, Blanchard was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2011.

While at Trinity, she earned Faculty Honors for four semesters.
