Gabe Bamforth

Gabe Bamforth enters his second season as head diving coach for the 2024-25 season. Bamforth joins the Engineers from Wellesley College where he was the head diving coach from July 2022-24. He was previously an Assistant Coach at Charles River Diving where he led elementary and high school divers in dryland and pool practices. 

In the 2024-25 season, Bamforth coached Fiora Beratahani to the NEWMAC Diver of the Year and two NCAA All-America honors. Additionally, Rachel Loh earned two All-America honors. Bamforth and his staff was named the NEWMAC Women's Diving Staff of the Year. Truman Remenicky won the 1-Meter board at the NEWMAC Championships.

Bamforth was a diver at Carnegie Mellon University from 2015-2019, where he set school records in both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter diving. Bamforth was also named a five-time NCAA All-American and received All-University Athletic Association Honors from 2016-2019. He graduated with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a minor in Creative Writing.
