Kamsi Nwogu enters her first season as an assistant coach with the MIT women’s basketball program in 2025-26. A 2025 graduate of MIT, she was a four-year player for the Engineers.

Nwogu was a three-time NEWMAC All-Conference Team selection and was tabbed to the D3hoops.com Region 2 All-Region Second Team and the NEWBA All-New England Fourth Team at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. In addition, she was a three-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team qualifier.

Nwogu graduated ranked second all-time at MIT in career field goal percentage (.550), fourth in points (1,361) and rebounds (794), sixth in scoring average (13.3), tied for seventh in blocks (64), eighth in free throw percentage (.701), and ninth in rebounding average (7.8). She also produced 32 double-doubles during her career.

Nwogu earned Bachelor of Science degrees in computer science, economics, and data science as well as business analytics.
