Steve Brennan will be in his 15th season on the football staff at MIT in 2025 and his sixth as the program's offensive coordinator. He spent the 2017 season as an assistant coach with the Harvard football program after serving as an assistant at MIT from 2010-2016. In addition, he will be in his fourth year as the assistant varsity equipment manager.

Prior to coming the staff at MIT, Brennan served as the offensive/defensive line coach at Noble and Greenough School from 2006-10. While he was there he helped the team to a pair of New England Championships (2006 & 2007) while putting together an unblemished record of 9-0 and winning the ISL title. Brennan also served as head coach of the JV program from 2007-10. 

Brennan graduated from Northeastern University in 2006 with a degree in sociology. While a student at Northeastern he worked with the Huskies football program as a work study assistant in 2003. A native of Cambridge, he attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
