Senior Ariela Slutsky won two events and was second in a third over the weekend at the 2018 NEWMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships to earn three All-Conference honors. Slutsky won the discus and the hammer, recording a throw of 143 feet in the discus and a toss of 172 feet, six inches in the hammer. She also recorded a toss of 38 feet, five inches in the shot put to finish second. The senior’s performances helped the MIT women’s track and field team to their 10th straight NEWMAC Championship Title.
