In a 2-0 week for MIT, Ryan Gebhardt tallied 10 goals and one assist for 11 points. He posted six goals in a 17-11 win over UMass Boston last Wednesday, including back-to-back strikes late in the third quarter that gave the Engineers a five-goal cushion. Gebhardt then registered four goals and an assist in a 13-2 victory over the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday. He earned an assist on the goal that gave the Engineers a 4-2 lead midway through the second quarter and then went on to score four times. Gebhardt's performance resulted in his 52nd goal of the year, eclipsing the previous program record for goals in a season (51).
