At the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational at Dartmouth College, Hensgen finished second overall with a time of 19:04.7 and a pace of 5:06 per mile over the six-kilometer course. Racing against all Division I competition, the Engineers dropped a narrow three-point final to the hosts from Dartmouth as MIT finished with a total of 29 points.
