At the URI Invitational, Alexis Boykin won the weight throw on her final attempt with a distance of 18.97m (62' 3"), breaking the MIT record and setting a new personal record. In addition, her mark also currently ranks first in Division III. Boykin also captured third place in the shot put courtesy of her final throw of 13.93m (45' 8.5").
