Kate Augustyn helped lead the Women's Swimming and Diving team to the program's first National Championship as she won two individual National Championships in the 100 and 200 back and was a member of three National Championship relay teams (400 medley, 200 medley, 400 free). She became the most decorated swimmer in program history with 27 All-America honors. In addition, she tied her national record time in the 100 back and helped the Engineers set a new record in the 200 medley relay.
