WORCESTER, Mass. – On the first day of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Swimming and Diving Championships – hosted by WPI - the sixth-ranked MIT competed in one event and recorded a first-place performance in the 800-yard freestyle relay. With the first-place performance, Tech concludes the first day with a two-point advantage over WPI, which finished the event in second place.
