- The Lead: On a sunny Saturday at the 2022 Head of the Charles, the MIT women's openweight crew team had two entries in the Club 8+ event. Overall, the A boat placed sixth out of 40 entries, while the B boat crossed in 25th place.

A LOOK INSIDE THE RACES:

- The A boat got off to a strong start as the crew passed the Riverside Boathouse in a time of 3:43.500. The Engineers remained consistent throughout and finished in a time of 16:42.974 as the team was just behind the University of Southern California and two places in front of Boston College. In addition, the B boat crossed in 25th overall in a final time of 17:42.181.
