- The Lead: At the Head of the Fish Regatta on Saturday afternoon, the MIT women's openweight crew team picked up a pair of top-three finishes to lead the squad in the final regatta of the 2022 fall racing season.

A LOOK INSIDE THE RACES:

- The MIT V8 boat greatly improved on its finish from a year ago at this event as the Engineers crossed in third with a time of 11:42.32 to place just behind strong crews from Syracuse University and Cornell University.

- In the 2V8, the Engineers came in as the defending champions and finished this year's event with a solid runner-up performance. Showing some significant improvements over the last couple of weeks, that boat crossed in a time of 12:01.84.

- The 3V8 was also in the same race and performed well, finishing in 11th place out of 25 boats with a time of 13:00.85.
