- The Lead: The MIT men's tennis team earned its 10th-straight victory over Babson with a 5-4 win over the Beavers on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MIT came out with a 2-1 lead after doubles with sophomore
Sundeep Chakladar (Redondo Beach, Calif.) and first-year
Wayne Nelms (Baltimore, Md.) earning an 8-2 win in two doubles and first-years
Daniel Antov (Austin, Texas) and
Carl-Herman Grant (Oslo, Norway) winning 8-3 in three doubles.
- The Beavers won the first singles match in the No. 5 spot, but junior
Daniel Papacica (Carmel, Calif.) and first-year
Ryan Xiao (Cary, N.C.) grabbed straight-set wins in the No. 3 and No. 2 courts to give MIT a 4-3 lead.
- Junior
Benji Grossman (Sands Point, N.Y.) sealed the win with a 6-2, 6-3 win in six singles for the Engineers.

- Postseason play begins for the Engineers as MIT will have a rematch with the Beavers on Saturday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m. at top-seed Coast Guard.
