HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Mah earned the win by nearly a seven-second margin as he crossed in first at 25:06.99Â for a pace of 5:03.2 per mile over the eight-kilometer course. Senior
Lowell Hensgen (Raleigh, N.C.) was No. 2 for MIT in fifth place at 25:30.02, followed in 10th by senior
Vedang Lad (Plainsboro, N.J.) in a time of 25:44.83.

Sam Acquaviva (Newburyport, Mass.) crossed in 15th place in 26:00.88, with first-year
Tim Neumann (Downers Grove, Ill.) following immediately in 16th place to close out the scoring runners at 26:03.70 in his first career race.

Jacob Hansen (Bountiful, Utah) finished in 20th place with a time of 26:17.17, along with a 22nd-place finish from graduate student
Ryan Wilson (Redwood City, Calif.) at 26:37.39 to round out the top seven. Â
