HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The Lyons took a double-digit lead over the opening eight minutes as the hosts went up 16-6 after a pair of free throws from
Aaron Williams and Wheaton eventually held a 43-18 lead at the break.

- Wheaton maintained control throughout the second half as the Lyons came away with the home victory in the first of two meetings between the teams this season.

- Sophomores
Spencer Lin (Menlo Park, Calif.) and
Kade Killeen (Austin, Texas) led MIT with 11 points each, while Killeen also added a team-high seven rebounds. The Lyons were led by 20 points from Williams to go along with 15 points off the bench from
Ty Murphy and 10 points by
Eoin Morrissey.
