- The Lead: The MIT women's basketball team rallied from 20-points down to tie the game, but fell just short of a comeback as the Engineers fell to visiting Colby, 70-63 on Tuesday night in Rockwell Cage. Three Engineers scored in double-digits as junior

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Mules got out to a quick start in the first 10 minutes of action as they took a 26-13 lead after the first quarter. Colby took a 20-point lead in the second before junior
Angie Choi (Cypress, Calif.) drained a three to jump-start an Engineer run to end the quarter. Choi hit a three with 39 seconds left sending the Engineers into the half trailing 39-28.
- MIT began to chip away at the Mules' lead as a jumper by graduate student
Christina Antonakakis (Holmdel, N.J.) got the Engineers to within five at 48-43 with 2:34 left in the third. She then buried a three with 25 seconds left to make it a four-point contest with 10 minutes left to play.

Kaya Weiser (Villanova, Pa.) and senior
Grace Harrington (Seattle, Wash.) cut the Colby lead to 57-55, and a Harrington layup tied the game with 6:22 remaining.
Carter McGloon scored four-straight points to put Colby back in the lead for good with 2:11 left as the Mules held off the Engineers' valiant comeback attempt to take the 70-63 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Nwogu posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards.
- Antonakakis added 15 points and Choi contributed 10.

Kate Olenik led all scorers with 22 points in the game. She also grabbed eight rebounds with three steals.
