The Lead: It was a very successful weekend on the water for the MIT sailing team as the Engineers won the inaugural Franny Charles Trophy and took home third in the Wood Team Race.

- The Engineers posted an 8-7 record during the two-day regatta. They opened the day with a 6-3 record in round one to advance to the top four where they went 1-2 in round one and 1-2 in round two. The top four was comprised of MIT, Harvard, and Brown.

- MIT went 8-1 on Saturday against Brown, Northeastern and Tufts. The team went 3-1 in round one, falling to the Bears, but went a perfect 3-0 in rounds two and three.
