The Lead: The No. 36 MIT men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 home match to No. 31 Brandeis on a windy Friday afternoon on the DuPont Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Judges held a 3-0 lead after doubles and captured the first singles match to go up 4-0.

- Senior
Daniel Papacica (Carmel, Calif.) got MIT on the board with a 6-3, 6-2 win in No. 3 singles over
Simon Kauppila and in one singles, and junior
Kailas Kahler (Pawtucket, R.I.) made it a 4-2 match with a 6-2, 6-3 win over
Dylan Walters.

- Brandeis took two singles to get to five points and added another win in the sixth position. Senior
Richter Jordaan (Denver, Colo.) took a 6-1, 7-5 win in five singles for the third win of the match for MIT.
