Daniel Papacica (Carmel, Calif.) led the way with an 8-1 win in No. 3 doubles as MIT took a 3-0 lead into singles action.

- With a 6-1, 6-1 win over Graham Russo in three singles, senior
Benji Grossman (Sands Point, N.Y.) gave MIT the win with the fifth point of the day. First year
Ethan Nguyen (Farmington, N.M.) earned a 6-0, 6-0 win in six singles.

Wayne Nelms (Baltimore, Md.) earned a 6-4, 6-3 win over William Kelleher in five singles.
