- The Lead: On Saturday morning, the MIT women's openweight crew team finished second in a trio of races with Boston College and Eastern Michigan on the Charles River.

A LOOK INSIDE THE RACES:

- In the V8 race, the Engineers were second in a time of 7:09.6 as they were just under six seconds back of Boston College. MIT followed that with a runner-up showing in the 2V8 as they crossed in 7:32.5 and were 34.2 seconds ahead of Eastern Michigan.

- In the V4 competition, MIT was second in 8:51.3 as Boston College took the race and Eastern Michigan was third in a time of 9:00.5.
