WORCESTER, Mass. – After Clark tied the match with just over 10 minutes left, senior
Jack Minor (Boca Raton, Fla.) gave the MIT men's soccer team the lead with his game-winning goal with just under four minutes remaining as the Engineers earned a 3-2 victory over the Cougars on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- First year Jonah Gurion (Rye, N.Y.) gave the Engineers a 1-0 lead with his goal at the 15:00 minute mark. He grabbed a rebound off a corner kick and rifled a shot into the back of the net.
- The corner kick from first year Shikhar Motupally (Avon, Conn.) was tapped by Dilin Meloni (Needham, Mass.) right to graduate student Aidan Hallinan (Carlsbad, Calif.) who converted for the second MIT goal of the game at 33:52.
- Clark got a score from freshman Graham Summers (Silver Spring, Md.) at 57:21 to cut the Engineers lead to one. The Cougars tied the game on a sliding goal from senior Colin Ruiz (West Hartford, Conn.) off a pass from sophomore Luca Echeumuna (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) at 82:23.
- Junior Ethan Reich (New York, N.Y.) sent a corner kick to the far side where Minor collected the ball and put it into the corner of the net at 86:36.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Paolo Mangiafico (Farmington, Conn.) collected four saves and is now 3-3 on the year.
- Hallinan recorded his team-leading sixth goal of the season. The six goals are also a new career-high.
- Gurion now has five goals and Minor has two. Minor's goal was the first game-winning score of his career.
- Diego Martin (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) made four saves and dropped to 4-4-3.
- Summers and Ruiz both scored their first goals of the season.
