NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Dwayne Robinson O'Hagan (Woonsocket, R.I.) scored a game-high 30 points to lead Rhode Island College to an 82-65 victory over the MIT men's basketball team on Saturday evening at the Murray Center.
Four MIT players finished in double figures, paced by sophomore Isaac Dobie's (Kitty Hawk, N.C.) 12 points, but it was enough for the Engineers. Junior Rome Delgado-Gonzalez (Miami, Fla.) added 11 points and a team-high five boards. Senior Spencer Lin (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Michael Zhang (Jacksonville, Fla.) each scored 10 points for MIT. Lin also had a game-high six assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- RIC got out to an early first half lead, taking a 17-9 advantage just under five minutes into the contest following a triple from junior Isaiah Dahl (Cornelius, Ore.).
- The Anchormen would lead by as many as 16 points during the opening half, growing the lead to 42-26 when Robinson O'Hagan added the final two points of a 10-0 run with 52 seconds left before halftime. A pair of MIT free throws from Michael Zhang () slimmed the deficit slightly before the break, 42-28.
- The lead swelled to 18 points two minutes into the second half, with Dahl knocking down another triple.
- A layup from junior Parker Spann (Omaha, Neb.) helped MIT work the deficit down to single digits at the 13:08 mark of the second, but the nine-point deficit was a close as the Engineers would come over the remainder of regulation.
- RIC pushed the lead up to 21 when Dahl dropped in a layup with 2:56 left as the Anchormen cruised to the 82-65 final.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Dobie has finished in double figures in each of MIT's three games this season, he leads the team in scoring at 21.0 PPG.
- MIT shot under 50% from the field for the first time this season in the setback.
- Dahl finished with seven three-pointers made in the contest for RIC. Seven of his eight made field goals were from beyond the arc.
- Fifth year Ousmane Kourouma (Woonsocket, R.I.) added a double-double for RIC, scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
