No. 24 Men's Tennis Earns 9-0 Win Over Clark in NEWMAC Opener

- Records: MIT (5-2, 1-0 NEWMAC), Clark (7-3, 0-1 NEWMAC)
 
- The Lead: The No. 24 MIT men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0  win over Clark in the team's first NEWMAC match of the season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 
- MIT took all three doubles matches with first year Adam Sun (Glendale, Ariz.) and senior Kailas Kahler (Pawtucket, R.I.) sealing the sweep with an 8-4 win in No. 2 doubles.
 
- The Engineers won all the singles matches in straight sets.
 
- Sophomore Jeremy Yu (Coppell, Texas) opened singles action with a 6-1, 6-1 win in No. 6 singles, and junior Ryan Xiao (Cary, N.C.) followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win in No. 1 singles.
 
- Senior Joshua Masuda (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) wrapped up with a 6-1, 6-2 win in No. 5 singles.
