- MIT won two of three doubles matches with the first victory of the day coming from seniors
Sundeep Chakladar (Redondo Beach, Calif.) and
Joseph Li (Naperville, Ill.) as they took No. 3 doubles, 8-6, over
Aidan Kwong and
Sandeep Alapati. Senior
Kailas Kahler (Pawtucket, R.I.) and first-year
Adam Sun (Glendale, Ariz.) followed with an 8-4 win in No. 2 doubles against
Joey Barrett and
Paul Dandler.

- MIT won four out of their six singles in straight sets. The first singles win came from Kahler over
Joey Barrett, 6-2, 6-2, in No. 1 singles. Junior
Ryan Xiao (Cary, N.C.) beat
Sam Henry 6-4, 6-3 in No. 3 singles.

- First-year
Shrish Choudhary (Fremont, Calif.) won 6-3, 6-1 in five singles over
Sandeep Alapati. Li finished the day with a tie-breaking win, 6-4, 7-6 in No. 6 singles over
Aidan Kwong.
