CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- A sixth-place finish in the Women's Lightweight Fours highlighted a busy Sunday for the MIT women's lightweight crew team at the 2025 Head Of The Charles Regatta. 

The Engineers also added an 11th place finish in the Lightweight Fours before concluding the weekend in the Women's Lightweight Eights. 

THE BASICS:

• Women's Lightweight Fours: 6th and 11th of 13 
• Women's Lightweight Eights: TBA of 8 

RACE BY RACE:

• Women's Lightweight Fours: MIT's "A" entry finished sixth, recording a time of 18:57.111, finishing behind Boston University "B" (18:55.591) but just ahead of the "A" entry from Cambridge (18:57.481). The Engineers "B" boat was 11th (19:28.867), trailing the top boat from Harvard Radcliffe (19:23.740) while completing the course well ahead of the time posted by Western Ontario "A" (19:50.016).  
• Women's Lightweight Eights: MIT's lightweight entry finished with a time of  
• The Engineers caught a buoy that slowed the team's momentum on the course, briefly delaying MIT before they completed the course. (MIT's final time had not been posted as of Sunday evening | Results)
