Women’s Volleyball Receives Program Record Five AVCA All-America Awards

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Led by two-time All-America First Team selection Kayleigh May, the MIT women's volleyball team received a program record five All-America awards from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Ali Gibbs earned a spot on the Second Team, Ella Zhou was tabbed to the Third Team, and Daphne Gavros and Eileen Sadati collected Honorable Mention accolades.

First student-athlete in program history to receive multiple All-America First Team awards
Directed an offense that ranks fifth in the country in hitting percentage (.260)
Leads the nation in assists per set (11.12) and ranks 11^th in assists (1,168)

Tied for third all-time at MIT in career hitting percentage, ninth in blocks per set (.81), and total blocks
