CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT football seniors Lucky Deignan and Stephen Schulze and juniors Michael Dennison and Dominic Hess have each been named to the D3football.com All-Region Team for the 2025 season. Dennison and Deignan were each named as first team selections, while Hess and Schulze earned spots on the second team.
The All-Region selection is the first for all four student-athletes. Deignan, Schulze, Dennison and Hess also earn NEWMAC All-Conference accolades in 2025. Hess was also named to the NEFW All-New England Team as well as the AFCA Division III All-America Team. 2025 was the 21st year that D3football.com All-Region All-Region Teams have been announced.
Michael Dennison | TE

- Second NEWMAC All-Conference selection, first First Team honor
- Team leader and fifth in the NEWMAC in receptions with 31, including four touchdown grabs
Lucky Deignan | CB

- NEWMAC All-Conference First Team
- Fourth NEWMAC All-Conference selection in four years, third First Team selection
- Team leader in solo tackles (28) was also third in the NEWMAC with seven pass breakups and three interceptions in nine games
Dominic Hess | OLB
- D3football.com All-Region 1 Second Team Defense
- NEWMAC All-Conference First Team
- NEFW All-New England College Division Team
- AFCA Division III All-America Second Team
- Two-time NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week tied for the NEWMAC lead with five interceptions
- Recorded 45 total tackles, 25 solo tackles while forcing a fumble and recovering two fumbles
Stephen Schulze | DT
- D3football.com All-Region 1 Second Team Defense
- NEWMAC All-Conference First Team
- Second career NEWMAC All-Conference, first career First Team selection
- Finished the year with three forced fumbles, 25 total tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery in nine games
