MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — A conference-leading fourteen members of the MIT men's basketball team have been named to the 2025 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team. A total of 52 student-athletes were recognized by the NEWMAC on Tuesday. MIT's total is a program record for honorees in a season.
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2024 spring semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
