CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Members of the MIT squash team have been honored by the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) for both their success in the classroom and on the courts as the conference released its end of year awards.
In order to be eligible for MASC All-Academic a student-athlete must have a 3.5 or above cumulative GPA and have to compete in at least one match in the MASC Championships.
Qualified MIT student-athletes are:

Lars Barkman (Jr. | Pittsburgh, Pa.)
Mero Elmarassy (So. | Santa Clara, Calif.)
John Gunton (So. | Lawrenceville, N.J.)
Mitav Nayak (Jr. | Bryn Mawr, Pa.)
Hyun Su Price (Jr. | Philadelphia, Pa.)
Stephen Shin (Jr. | Atlanta, Ga.)
Collin Wen (Gr. | Short Hills, N.J.)
Additionally, Elmarassy, Su Price, and Gunton were named Second Team MASC All-Conference. Su Price earns his third all-conference honor while Elmarassy tallying his second and Gunton his first.
