CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 13 MIT squash team opened the season with a decisive 8-0 victory over Northeastern on Friday night at the Zesiger Squash Courts.  
 
THE BASICS:  

• Score: MIT 8, Northeastern 0 
• Records: MIT (1-0), Northeastern (0-1) 

HOW IT HAPPENED:   

• Zachary Starr, Rishabh Sharma, and Lars Barkman opened the match with 3-0 victories to put MIT up 3-0.  
• Ethan Chan, Eddie Xue, Isaac Torchinsky-Field, and Sean-Winston Luo also took straight-set wins to put the Engineers up 7-0. 
• Hyun Su Price defeated David Wu in the first ladder in straight sets to make it 8-0. 

UP NEXT:  

• The Engineers remain at home as they welcome Boston College and Boston University to the Zesiger Center Squash Courts on Monday, November 3. MIT will play the Terriers at 5:00 PM followed by the Eagles at 6:30 PM.
