CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 6 MIT men's swimming and diving hosted No. 14 Williams and No. 2 NYU on Friday afternoon at the Zesiger Center Pool with the Engineers earning a commanding win over the Ephs but falling to the Violets.

• NYU 165, MIT 135 
• MIT 209, Williams 88 

HOW IT HAPPENED:    

• 400 Medley Relay: Aitor Arrese-Igor, Thomas Wu, Bryce Roberts, and Nathan Kim took the top spot in 3:19.63. 
• 1650 Free: Mark O'Mara took third in 15:54.68 followed by John Tietjen in sixth with a time of 16:20.38. 
• 200 Free: Grant Hu earned the win in 1:40.20 with Evan Wong just behind him with a time of 1:41.83. 
• 100 Back: Kim finished with a time of 49.58 for second with Arrese-Igor in fourth (50.56). 
• 100 Breast: Thomas Wu won the event in 56.57. Daniel Seong finished seventh in 58.49. 
• 200 Fly: Jason Wang took second in 1:52.04 and Nathan Wu came in fourth with a time of 1:56.38. 
• 50 Free: Roberts earned the win in 21.04 while Keon McClure finished in sixth with a time of 21.53. 
• 100 Free: Kim claimed second with a mark of 45.93 while Evan Wong finished right behind him in third (46.34). 
• 200 Back: Ian Sun finished third with a time of 1:53.06 and Arrese-Igor took fifth in 1:55.53. 
• 200 Breast: Seong finished third with a time of 2:07.98 and Nathan Wu finished fourth in 2:08.42. 
• 500 Free: Hu won his second event with a time of 4:37.22. Tietjen finished in seventh (4:50.12). 
• 100 Fly: Roberts finished with a time of 50.17 for third with Eric Huang in fourth with a time of 50.62. 
• 400 IM: Hu finished second in 3:59.50 with Wang fourth in 4:03.29. 
• 200 Free Relay: Roberts, Thomas Wu, Arrese-Igor, and Kim took second in 1:22.98.
