WORCESTER, Mass. -- The MIT heavyweight men closed out the fall racing season with a solid team performance on Saturday at the Wormtown Chase Regatta. In beautiful fall conditions on a mild, sunny day, the Engineers earned a silver medal and added seventh and 14th place finishes in the men's collegiate 8+ event.

"The entire squad raced well today," said head coach Evan Thews-Wassell. "It's always tough to come out of the Head of the Charles weekend and get ready to race again, but the team had a good week and earned some good results today. I am especially impressed with the varsity eight flipping the result against Wesleyan after losing to them last weekend at the Head of the Charles."
