CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT rifle team closed out the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) Championship with a runner-up performance in the air rifle competition for the second year in a row, helping it finish in second place in the overall standings. In addition,
Eleanor Yang claimed third place in air rifle and the aggregate standings for the second consecutive year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Mount Aloysius claimed the team title for the second day in a row with a total of 2,313 points, followed by MIT (2,277), John Jay (2,266), Schreiner (2,245), Norwich (2,243), and URI (2,238).
- Molly Miller (Mount Aloysius) won the individual crown with 589 points, closely followed by Molly Mitchell (Schreiner) with 586 points, and then Yang with a score of 583, which tied her personal best.
- William Knowlton ranked 10th with a personal best of 573 as Jialin Xu was 14th with a total of 566.
- Danny Antonelli finished in 21st place with 555 points while Avaneesh Pal rounded out the Engineers in 29th place with a tally of 529.
- In the individual aggregate standings, Knowlton ranked 10th (1,116), Antonelli was 17th (1,095), and Pal was 20th (1,057).
