Week four of spring sailing featured three regattas for the MIT sailing team during the weekend of March 21-22. 

BOSTON COLLEGE TEAM RACE | Boston, Mass. | 5th of 6 

• The Engineers went 1-9 during the race, earning a win over Connecticut College in Round 2. 
• Kaitlyn Beaver, Conrad Straden, and Lucas Escandon handled the skipper responsibilities with Ada Kilian, Diba Demir and Adé Larsen on the crew. 

DUPLIN WOMEN'S TEAM RACE | Medford, Mass. | 7th of 10 

• MIT finished with a 6-10 record over the two-day event. The team went 6-3 in the first round to advance to the final eight. 
• The Engineers earned wins over Yale, Brown, Roger Williams, Bowdoin, Northeastern, and Fordham. 
• Brooke Barry, Emma Wang, and Karya Basaraner were the skippers with Christine Keedy Brown, Alice Dunning, Layla Bursor, Sophia Woodbury and Tamsin Horne as the crew. 

FRIIS TROPHY | Cambridge, Mass. | 7th of 9 

• The Engineers finished the weekend with a 3-13 record. MIT took a win over Boston College in the first round and followed with wins over Tufts and Coast Guard in the second round.  
• Robert Ulmer, Ryan Hoffman, Andy Yu, and William Kulas were the skippers with Ellie Pinto, Alice Colby, Hoffman, and Elliott Chalcraft on the crew. 

UP NEXT: 

• MIT is scheduled to host the Marchiando Team Race while also competing at the Jumbo Team Race and the Jumbo Team Race from Saturday, March 28 – Sunday, March 29.
