CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- No. 1 Radcliffe topped No. 6 MIT women's lightweight crew in the lightweight eights to claim the Muri Cup and the Beanpot on Saturday in challenging conditions with a choppy building tailwind on the Charles River. 

MIT also raced against No. 4 Boston University, No. 8 Sacred Heart and Gordon College, with the Engineers capturing victories in doubles and novice fours.  

LIGHTWEIGHT 8+ (V8+): 

• Results: 3rd of 4 (6:52.473) 
• Lineup: C. Katelyn Lee; 8. Anna Chan; 7. Callie Karjane; 6. Liane Xu; 5. Katherine Jankowski; 4. Olivia Stinson; 3. Calder Shen; 2. Josephine Williams; B. Emily Knapp 
• Radcliffe earned both the Muri Cup, defeating MIT, and the Beanpot, defeating MIT and BU, in the lightweight eights. The Black and White finished in 6:28.428, well ahead of BU (6:45.543) and MIT (6:52.473).  

LIGHTWEIGHT 4+ A: 

• Results: 2nd of 5 (7:32.130) 
• Lineup: C. Sophie Thompson; 4. Yagmur Kavukcuoglu; 3. Annabel Noonan; 2. Lillie Beliveau; B. Anna Gluschuk 
• Radcliffe held on to defeat MIT in the top Lightweight 4+ race; Radcliffe finished in 7:30.600 with MIT second in 7:32.130. 

LIGHTWEIGHT 4+ B: 

• Results: 2nd of 3 (7:50.629)

LIGHTWEIGHT 2x A: 

• Results: 2nd of 5 (7:50.810)

LIGHTWEIGHT 2x B: 

• Results: 1st of 3 (8:24.269) 
• Lineup: Grace Hutter/Ania Kelly 
• Hutter and Kelly easily outpaced BU (8:42.750) and Gordon (8:48.507) to win in 8:24.269. 

NOVICE 4+: 

• Results: 1st of 3 (8:10.905) 
• Lineup: C. Olivia Nguyen; 4. Melisande Nabage; 3. Cassia Colombara; 2. Sofia Weber; B. Mia Rozenberg 
• The MIT novices put in an impressive performance, winning in 8:10.905, nearly 37 seconds ahead of Radcliffe in second.
