MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – MIT baseball junior John Dwyer and first year Dalton Chi have been named to the 2026 NEWMAC Baseball All-Conference first team. The All-Conference honor is the first for both student-athletes.
John Dwyer
- NEWMAC First Team All-Conference – C
- First career All-Conference selection
- Second on the team with a .996 OPS while establishing career-high in multiple offensive categories, including average (.356) and on-base percentage (.442)
- Had a .957 fielding percentage in 207 chances behind the dish
Dalton Chi
- NEWMAC First Team All-Conference – INF
- First career All-Conference selection
- Team leader in OPS (1.072), hits (47), runs scored (41), home runs (7) and total bases (77)
- NEWMAC Athlete of the Week for the week of March 29 after registering nine hits in 15 at-bats while scoring nine runs and collecting six RBIs in a pair of NEWMAC wins
