Dwyer, Chi Named to NEWMAC Baseball All-Conference First Team

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – MIT baseball junior John Dwyer and first year Dalton Chi have been named to the 2026 NEWMAC Baseball All-Conference first team. The All-Conference honor is the first for both student-athletes.

Second on the team with a .996 OPS while establishing career-high in multiple offensive categories, including average (.356) and on-base percentage (.442)
Had a .957 fielding percentage in 207 chances behind the dish

Dalton Chi

NEWMAC First Team All-Conference – INF
First career All-Conference selection
Team leader in OPS (1.072), hits (47), runs scored (41), home runs (7) and total bases (77)
NEWMAC Athlete of the Week for the week of March 29 after registering nine hits in 15 at-bats while scoring nine runs and collecting six RBIs in a pair of NEWMAC wins
