Biography

2015: Starter as shortstop for a third straight season … started all 43 of MIT’s games … third team All-American by ABCA … first team All-Region selection by ABCA and NEIBA … first team All-NEWMAC … ECAC DIII New England All-Star second team … first team CoSIDA Academic All-American … CoSIDA Academic All-District … Academic All-NEWMAC … finished with a batting average of .387 with nine home runs and 51 RBI … led the conference and nation with 27 doubles, setting a school record … second on the team in average, RBI, home runs and runs scored … also ranked among the conference and national leaders in hits, home runs, RBI, and slugging.

2014: Starter at short for a second straight year … started all 41 games he played in there for the Engineers … CoSIDA Academic All-District … Academic All-NEWMAC … finished with a .306 average with three home runs and 30 RBI … shared the team and league lead with three triples … second in RBI and hits … finished in the top-10 in the NEWMAC in runs, home runs and RBI … shared the team lead with16 multi-hit games … drove in two or more six times … started the season with a 4-for-5 game with three RBI at the Apprentice School (3/14) … multiple hits games in five of his first six outings … two hits and a pair of runs scored against Brandeis (3/28) … heated up over the last couple of week of the season … started with a 3-for-6 game against UMass Boston (4/24) with three RBI and a run scored … combined to go 5-for-11 with a triple and six RBI in the doubleheader win at Wheaton (5/3) that gave MIT the NEWMAC title … 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI at Suffolk (5/5) … drove in two with a home run against Eastern Connecticut State (5/16) at the NCAA Tournament … 2-fpr-3 with an RBI and run scored against Tufts (5/16) … double and home run against St. Joseph’s (5/16), driving in two and scoring twice … went a combined 6-for-15 at the NCAA Tournament to earn a spot on the All-Regional team for a second straight year.

2013: Took over at shortstop as a sophomore … started all 40 games there for the Engineers … NCAA Regional All-Tournament team … Academic All-NEWMAC … hit .299 with two home runs and 21 RBI … second on the team with 10 doubles … second with eight steals … finished among the top-10 in the NEWMAC in doubles … 12 multi-hit games … 2-for-4, including a triple, with an RBI and two runs against Clark (3/16) … drew three walks against Bard (3/24) … started a streak in which he recorded a hit in 13 of 14 games with a double against Western Connecticut State (3/25) … pair of stolen bases against Amherst (3/28) … 3-for-5 with two doubles against WPI (4/5), scoring twice and driving in one … 3-for-5 against Curry (4/10) … drove in a pair against Coast Guard (4/13) … 3-for-5 against Suffolk (5/6) with an RBI and a run … 3-for-4 against Mitchell (5/10) in the ECAC Tournament, including a pair of doubles … went a combined 5-for-9 at the NCAA Tournament, including a home run against Daniel Webster (5/16).

2012: Played in 19 games and started 10 as a freshman ... batted .256 ... drove in a total of eight runs ... had 11 hits in 43 at-bats ... scored seven runs ... went 3-4 against Gordon (3/9) with a home run driving in two ... had two hits and drove in and also scored two runs against Brandeis (4/4).
