Off the Field at MIT:
- Majoring in mechanical engineering with minors in energy studies and environment and sustainability and a concentration in sustainable development
- Was an intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory
- Environmental Solutions Initiative Rapid Response Group intern
- Research in the Electrochemical Energy Lab: used density functional theory and machine learning tools to create a screening process for metal oxides to be used in metal air batteries
- Conducted research in the D-Lab, the Masic Lab, and the McGee Lab
- Conducted research related to plant water-use efficiency
- Also did research using citric acid peels to filter uranium out of drinking water
- Carl G. Sontheimer Prize for Outstanding Undergraduate Assistant in Mechanical Engineering
