Why I Chose MIT:
- I chose MIT because I loved the community that allows me to pursue my academic passions and play varsity volleyball in the beautiful city of Cambridge. I knew I could discover new hobbies through clubs, travel abroad, and research with top-notch professors and not have to compromise any of my athletic goals. More importantly, everyone on campus, from my teammates to students to professors, were not only incredibly welcoming and made time to talk to me, but also so passionate and innovative. After my official visit, I knew for sure MIT is where I wanted to grow as both an athlete and a person for the next four years.
