Why I Chose MIT:
- I chose MIT because I wanted a community that would allow me to explore and discover my academic passions while also providing me the opportunity to play volleyball. One of the main things I valued about the academic-athletic balance at MIT was that playing volleyball won’t interfere with my options academically. MIT presents so many opportunities to learn about different majors/career paths and, as someone who didn’t come to MIT with set on a specific major, will hopefully aid me in finding what path is best for me. Apart from the academics and athletics, MIT is located in one of the best cities in the country, and there are so many places I’m excited to explore right around campus.
