Nick Gallagher joined the MIT staff in 2015 and enters his ninth season with the Engineers in 2023, where he brings seven prior years of collegiate coaching and playing experience to his position with the Engineers.

Gallagher spent three years (2009-12) as an assistant coach at Brandeis University where he was involved in all aspects of the Judges’ program, including recruiting and on-field coaching duties. He also spent two years as a “bird dog” scout for the Oakland Athletics, identifying potential professional players in the Northeast from both the high school and collegiate ranks.

A 2009 graduate of Brandeis with a BA in psychology, Gallagher was a four-year member of the Judges’ baseball team, earning both All-Conference and Academic All-Conference honors.
