Biography

2014: Solid season in the starting rotation for MIT … second team All-NEWMAC … Academic All-NEWMAC … compiled a 2-4 record with a 1.73 ERA … second on the team with 45 strikeouts over 62.1 innings pitched … led the pitching staff in innings … finished among the top-50 in the nation in ERA … gave up just one earned run in his first start of the season, going seven innings against Tufts (3/16) and striking out six … one earned run on six hits in eight innings in a no-decision against Springfield (3/25) … faced the Pride (4/3) again and did not allow an earned run in eight innings, fanning six … won both of his starts in the NEWMAC Tournament to earn Most Outstanding Player honors … defeated Springfield (4/27), going all the way and allowing just four hits and an earned run with 13 strikeouts … against Wheaton (5/3) he went six innings while holding the Lyons to three runs.

2013: Continued in his role as one of the top starters on the team after taking a year off … second team All-NEWMAC … Academic All-NEWMAC … finished with a 5-3 record with an ERA of 2.60 … struck out 39 against just eight walks over 62.1 innings … second in the NEWMAC in games started … among the top-10 in the league in wins, innings pitched and strikeouts … did not allow a run over his first two starts covering 11.2 innings … struck out six in five innings against Clark (3/16) … gave up two runs in five innings with six Ks to record the win against WPI (4/5) … allowed just one earned run in his next start at Coast Guard (4/14), striking out five … threw a complete-game, one-hit shutout against Babson (5/4) at the NEWMAC Tournament, striking out eight.

2012: Did not play baseball.

2011: One of the team’s mainstays on the mound as a sophomore … second on the team with three wins … tied among the team leaders in appearances, starts, strikeouts and inning pitched … allowed just one run in three innings with four Ks in his first start of the season at Trinity (3/12) … picked up the win against Wheaton (3/19), going 5.2 innings with six strikeouts while giving up just a pair of runs … seven shutout innings to gain the victory at Springfield (4/9), fanning eight … five innings of two-hit ball against Fisher (4/27) … notched the win against Suffolk (5/8), allowing two earned runs over six innings.
