Becca Shaw is in her second year as an annual giving officer for DAPER in 2023-24 and her 10th season as an assistant coach with the MIT field hockey program. In addition, she previously served as the special assistant to the athletic director/department head from 2019-2022.

A multi-sport athlete at Middlebury College, this coaching post is her first at the intercollegiate level as she previously served as an assistant coach for the Winsor School (Mass.) varsity girls ice hockey team.

A four-year goalie and co-captain for the Panthers' field hockey team, Shaw helped her squad advance to the finals of the 2011 NCAA Tournament and finished her career ranking third in program history for goals against average (1.21). She carried over her success in the net to Middlebury's ice hockey team which was two-time NCAA semifinalists and three-time NESCAC champions. Shaw also appeared between the pipes for the women's lacrosse squad during her sophomore campaign.

Shaw graduated from Middlebury in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in sociology.
