- MIT Kavli Institute of Astrophysics and Space Research, worked as an undergraduate researcher on the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) team. Main project was to convert the Allesfitter exoplanet analysis software to a cloud-based format. Was also part of the TESS exoplanet vetting team, looking at incoming data from TESS to classify planets/astronomical occurrences
- Conducted research at the MIT Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, where he investigated photometric data in search of local gaseous pressure maxima in the V883 Ori protoplanetary disk to determine the locations of astrophysically important snow lines

- Took a two-year leave of absence from MIT from Fall 2018 to Spring 2021 to serve a two-year religious mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
