Nick Perron enters his 10th season as a member of the MIT coaching staff in 2021 and will be working with the wide receivers group. He will also be serving as the team’s wide receiver’s coach after previously coaching the linebackers in 2017. Also coordinating the football operations, Perron works as an assistant varsity equipment specialist after previously working with MIT Recreation as an assistant director of membership services.

Perron’s prior football experience before coming to MIT was as a member of the coaching staff at Killingly High School in Danielson, Connecticut for three seasons starting in 2004. While there, he was the quarterback coach and served as the offensive coordinator in 2007.  

Perron graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in sport management from Nichols College. A three-year starter during his time at Nichols, he was a part of the Bison program that competed in the 2000 ECAC Championship Game and won the Boyd Division Championship of the New England Football Conference in 2001.

Nick, his wife Jessica, daughter Josephine, and son Leo live in Ashland, Mass.
