Luke Wagner will serve as an assistant coach for the MIT men’s basketball program in the 2024-25 season.

Luke graduated MIT with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 2024 and will be pursuing a one year Master’s degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Computer Systems and Security. During his time at MIT, Luke played four years for the men’s basketball program and was a captain and a 3x Academic All-Conference selection. Off of the court, he was an active member in the MIT Sports Lab, partnering with the San Antonio Spurs to build attendance projection models, helped found the MIT Sports Tech Club, and served as webmaster for the MIT Tech Catholic Community.

Luke is originally from Austin, Texas. He loves returning home to spend time with his family and friends and to wake foil on Lake Austin.
