Favorite Sports Memory:
- Getting to play baseball again after 2twoyears, with this team, and putting together a 1.5 ERA in my last six conference appearances last season


Favorite Moment as an MIT Student-Athlete:
- Dog-pile after winning the NEWMAC championship my freshman year 


Off the Diamond at MIT:
- Majored in chemical-biological engineering with a concentration in literature
- PhD in Materials Science and Engineering
- Researcher for two years in Professor Yang Shao-Horn's electrochemical energy lab where I worked on applying a new spectroscopic technique to lithium electrolyte systems for polymer dynamics optimization.
- Member of the Undergraduate Energy Club
- On the outreach committee for the Energy Career Fair
- Camp Kesem counselor
- Member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity
- Took a leave of absence to work a year-long internship at SolidEnergy Systems in Woburn, MA where I was involved in process design and materials optimization for next-generation Lithium Metal Batteries
- Currently working as a UROP in the Furst Lab in the Chemical Engineering Department on protein engineering for bioreactors and next generation microbial
