Why I Chose MIT: MIT has a mixture of intense academics and student culture that few other colleges could provide, as well as one of the nation's best engineering programs. I wanted to go to a school that challenged me academically while having a student body that still manages to have fun and support each other, and MIT satisfied all of the requirements I gave myself when choosing schools. The additional opportunity to participate as a student-athlete here is an even greater asset, which allows me to fulfill my athletic aspirations here along with my pursuit for a future in engineering.
